Every child’s story is different. Our heart is to provide a safe, Christ-centered place where children can feel known, loved, and encouraged while building meaningful relationships with a dedicated mentor and the horses.

Who We Serve

Our program serves children ages 8–18 who are walking through difficult circumstances, including experiences such as abuse, neglect, loss, abandonment, family instability, and other significant challenges.

If you feel that Whispering Angels Youth Ranch may be a good fit for your child, please submit the referral form below. A member of our team will reach out to learn more about your child and family.

Weekly Commitment

Children attend the ranch for one hour each week during their scheduled session. Sessions are currently offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays between 4:00–6:00 PM.

Because each child is paired with a dedicated mentor and we have children waiting for a place in the program, families are asked to make their weekly session a consistent commitment. We allow up to two unexcused absences per year.

A parent or guardian must remain on ranch property throughout the child's session.

Getting Started

Before beginning weekly sessions, each child participates in an orientation and horse meet-up. This gives us an opportunity to welcome your family, introduce your child to the ranch, and begin finding the horse connection that will become part of their experience here.

Whispering Angels is literally a little piece of Heaven on Earth. A feeling of peace comes over me as I drive through the gates. My granddaughter and I are met with love and hugs from everyone. While she meets with her mentor, I am a part of a support group. The time with my granddaughter’s mentor includes time with the horse who chose her. Also, there are many more activities that she enjoys with her mentor. She especially enjoys the art room! Lives are being changed in a safe, loving environment.
